Meguiars scratch remover is horrible, but the Scratch X brand in a yellow bottle at walmart works wonders. 1/29/2007 4:03:20 PM |

My appologies for not seeing this thread before I posted one....
Armor All Gel System = Fabulous for washing & waxing (esp in the winter) and not freezing your hands off
Oh yea, and 'Purple Stuff' will clean anything, or eat through it (one of the two).... Gets darn near anything of tires (Warning: You will cough your brains out if you don't spray and walk away for a sec first).

I always fill the bucket up with warm water if I absolutely have to wash when it is witch tit cold out.
Do you not have to dry the car off with this product? Because there isn't much you can do about that in the cold. 1/29/2007 4:38:22 PM |

^^^^it depends on what you want cleaned. you can add it to the oil, gas, or through a vacuum line.

try simple green. i dilute it 1:1 although it is strong enough for not-so-tough jobs if it's diluted 1:10. and simple green won't harm paint.

You wet the car, then squeeze a little gel on the car.... rub a dub dub
Rinse
squeeze a little of the wax gel on a towel, and dry it as usual
Pretty simple.... Normally this time of year my hands are purple by the time I'm finished.......
...... Now if they can just get something to spray on wheels to eat everything off without having to scrub them. Anyone have any suggestions for that?... I dang near cut my knuckles trying to get in between 'em Anyone ever tried: http://www.carcare.dupont.com/carcareguide/tireclean.stm
