"but no crash imo"

I agree. It was not a steaming pile of feces like Crash.

i haven't seen crash because it looked like a over-hyped, simplistic movie. and i really don't care to waste two hours to prove myself right.

i haven't thought of any particular movie i think is that special yet. i'm still thinking.

honestly i don't really know how i want to answer the question. if it were simply "what's your favorite movie?" then it would be easy. but i'm guessing the intent is more "what's a great movie that lots of people could appreciate? i guess. . ."

Just because it deals with issues that you don't deal with on a daily basis (i.e. black/white of crash) doesn't mean it isn't as important of a film.

where did i say the message wasnt as important? the situations were all very intense, but it didnt really move me like other films in the genre. as i said in chitchat, i thought 21 grams did so better.

[Edited on April 8, 2007 at 11:29 AM. Reason : and i agree that crash was a bit too direct at times, but it was still seemed to have more feeling]

i don't why so many people pick crash as a film of comparison since alejandro gonzález iñárritu has made it a habit to use this fragmented style in his films, such as 21 grams and amores perros.
