On that note, I have this morbid desire to visit NK just to experience it first hand. I thought Belarus was pretty insane when I went, but Im sure that NK would be a whole new order of weird. 10/16/2006 4:19:58 PM |

^ In a word, they do. It's like getting to visit one of the weirdest, most unbelievable places on Earth.
It's the same reason people go visit Hawaii (amazingly beautiful, weirdly remote and isolated), but for the complete opposite reasons.
I'd LOVE to go to just experience it first hand, but can't afford it and won't revoke my American citizenship. Plus, I'd probably end up dead b/c I wouldn't bow to the statue and I'd take pictures of absolutely everything.
I wonder if they warn you outright, like "You will be killed if you don't bow." or if they just leave it up to you to wonder about what'll happen if you revolt. I want to know what warnings they give if they do indeed give them. 10/16/2006 6:24:28 PM |
