Page 2 says the Colts are undefeated and still Manning gets no love.

With or without Edge, he just keeps moving them along running that team.

Maybe because Peyton doesn't seem to try if it's not the 4th quarter?

Thanks lafta.

Ok, just reading that alone i can 100% say steve smith will not be winning any MVP award. Neither will any other reciever in the league.

The MVP will definitley come out to be a quarterback.. But a quarterback playing for a playoff team especially... Its hard to say with the amount of teams in playoff contention, but peyton is all over the stats this year and Brees is doing what no one thought he was capable of.

Brees has been good but not spectacular. Ultimately the MVP goes to the BEST player, not the most surprising.

With that in mind, McNabb, Peyton and Bulger have all put up better numbers than Brees. So has Rivers, for that matter.

Brees has been good. So has that New Orleans defense.

But the MVP so far would have to go to a guy like Manning or McNabb before Brees because those guys have put up better numbers against better competition.

Steve Smith right now League MVP...Following close behind - P. Rivers, doing the damn thing. D. Brees, Rocking house also. D. McNabb, until yesterday but still throwing heat. Totally forgot about Peyton....UNDEAFETED mind you without Edge... IMO

4 picks, 2 fumbles

14/37 passing for 148 yards, -7 yards rushing, 2 sacks losing 14 yards

I think his dreams of being MVP went down the drain, but the season is still yound

The reason Peyton Manning is getting "no love" is because he hasnt been playing that well.

He's been a top QB but not an MVP by ANY means.

Donovan McNabb was the best QB heading into last week but he struggled a little so now the MVP race is cloudy again.

Peppers should definitely get some attention as he's the clearcut favorite for Defensive MVP right now.

Steve Smith could emerge but its WAY too early to give him any attention as he hasnt really done much yet.

Drew Brees is a serious reach.

Grossman is just an asinine choice.

Tomlinson is a legitimate contender....

I'd throw Tiki Barber some consideration if he keeps massacring the league like he has the past two weeks.

Torry Holt... eh... its pretty damn tough for a WR to win MVP and he's a great one but if Jerry Rice couldnt do it i dont see Holt doing it either

Two words: Brian Urlacher. He almost single-handedly won that game last night.

And can you seriously say the Colts would win without Peyton? All I heard before the season is the Colts will miss Edge so much....doesn't look like it to me, they are winning with Rhodes and Addai.

19 tackles, and at the ball at the end of every play when he was on the field. The man isn't even human.

Not for long they arent if they don't start playing a lot better. They are pulling off close wins with an offense that is good but not great and a defense that is below average. They won't beat better teams the way they've been playing, especially not on the road. They got lucky in the Giants game (that pass interference call was bullshit), they actually tried to lose to the Jets, they almost lost to the Titans, and they essentially beat the Jags on a punt return and some botched red zone ops by Jax.

And Rhodes/Addai is not a bad RB duo anyway. Dont act like Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, & Dallas Clark aren't huge weapons too....

Peyton hasn't played like Peyton this year. His reads have been off, his stats have been off, his decisions have been off. Even still he's one of the best players in the game but he hasn't played at the same level as he did the past few seasons.

Don't sleep on Champ

He's been nasty on the stingiest defense so far this year.
