^^Hey, you brought up some pretty swell points there. Yeah, brawls do happend but overall those teams have very classy guys. With the exception of a couple of bad apples in the bunch. My guess is that it has alot to do with coaching.

Someone made a reference that winning teams show class (helping each other off the turf). Carolina is still displaying some good class out here tonight and they're getting destroyed. If that coach diddn't do anything else for those men, he taught them class. I thought I'd never say that about carolina.

uh, if you are competitive, everything is more intense and tempers run much higher.

just about any sport has its assholes but most fights occur due to the pressure of competition. when you are uncompetitive, it is easy to just shake it off and write it off as good sportsmanship. what do you think would happen if unc was 4-1 right now and uva was 4-1

state does get its share of 15 yarders but we are also competitive in 99% of our games. if you are going to kiss unc's ass all night just head on over there, i hear a football game is a great way to spend a saturday afternoon.

Thats an incorrect statement. With this logic you're saying competitve players' don't have class. This is just a weak claim and holds no water. The nfl players I mentioned are very competitive and classy at the same time.

When realizing Im in a discussion about class, when 3/4ths of the posters in this thread apparently don't know what class is, sickens me. It absolutely sickens me to my stomach.
