I'm curious how the best fan ever calls out one guy for a loss, real team player bud, you're a great fan! 2 picks are bad, but in no way did Evans stick out as the sole factor like other previous NCSU QB's. Maybe his two previous performances (and maybe even 3, Wake wasn't bad) cuts him slack because of what we've witnessed previous to Evans. You are saying our O-line dominated??? If you consider our tackles to "dominate" at the collegiate level, I'd certainly have to assume you think Pace, Ogden, and McKinnie were Jesus reincarnated at tackle. Also, every real fan vents after a tough loss, some people do it through a message board, other people throw things, some people sit in disarray, everyone has their deal. While it does get tiresome to read some people's disdain over and over, it's just a message board, and a collegiate one at that, don'tt ake it too seriously. We have four more conference games left. I fail to understand why you given up on us so early? The acc is up for dad-gom grabs! You've witnessed the parity. Bc victored clemson, we victored Bc so forth and so on. I, honestly would not be up here saying we could beat clemson if they were undefeated. You peeps make it seem as if they are apocalypse.

friend, you've grossly misunderstood me.There is nothing wrong with saying a player ruined a game for us. I pick out a beef with peeps who constantly down us (our entirety) everytime we lose. Evans was the most hyped player ever at nc state. What did he do the last two games...nothing. Even those wins against fsu and bc, I give some mad-up props to our recievers.

Im going to have to respectfully disagree with you here. I haven't been proved wrong about anything yet (if im wrong correct me. I honestly can't think of anything right now). So I fail to see were you gather those very misleading statistics. And In a respectful manner, I would like to challenge you to a duel anytime. Now, don't get offended by that or anything. I don't want to upset you or hurt you. The only thing I see myself losing up here lately is the insult contest. Because I don't swear or threaten people using internet vulgarities. But when it comes to sports trivia, I am one shark you dont want to swimm with. You dont want to issue a check that you can't take to the bank and cash. You don't want to open your mouth and bite off a substance that is too big for your mouth to chew.

Also, Does it make me a bad NC State fan when I say I don't think Clemson will lose 2 conference games? Even IF (which I don't) I think we beat the hell out of them we still won't win the conference. But I guess it would make a bad fan if I thought that Clemson was the 2nd best team in the ACC, after us of course (which of course we aren't).

since when did being a good fan mean you had to be blindly retarded about the situation your team was in? i mean shit, i'm a titans fan and yes they could go on a run and win out and go to the super bowl but it isn't going to happen. it's great that you have an unreal optimistic approach, but don't act like because you hold onto the slimest chances of us winning an acc title that you are a better fan.
Also, losing 2 conference games in a row against teams that are in the middle of the conference at best while still having what i believe are the two best ACC teams coming up doesn't look to promising. actually i consider the people that get on here angry to be a better fan then you sometimes, with your stupid posts thinking your so great. anger to me means people care, and want us to do well more then anything. there is no bandwagon, its a fucking university, you act like after our 2 loses 3000 people tried to transfer to clemson. if you were a real sports fan you would understand that that is how it works, your team does well you love it, when the bad times come you have to vent in some way but come the following weekend your at that tv/stadium rooting them on again.

Everyone has their interpretations. To be brutaly honest, I wouldn't refer to it as anger. We get ridiculed for losing. Instead of everyone having a "better hope for tomorrow attitude" they just doom us. My criticism is for the individuals doomings us one day, then supporting us the other. It goes from night and day in a matter of seconds. This is not fair to the team at all, whatsoever.

1.Actually I was saying that about winning the championship. I don't think we will beat Clemson but it is definatley possible to do so, I wouldn't be shocked. Clemson's offense is basically the same as it was last year, except 1 year more experience. Our team lost 3 of our best defensive players from last year.
How did we do against Clemson last year?
2. Of course I wouldn't say it to the players faces. I don't tell the players on my high school team they suck either, and they litterally blow goats dick, they haven't won a game all year, their average size is like 5'5, 160lb, and last year they set a state record for most quarters without a first down.
But if I'm talking to them I will tell them to go out and give it the best, because I WANT TO SEE THEM WIN.
I would do the same with the Wolfpack.
3. Actually I think that if every team played to their full potential, I think GT would win most games, just because of how incredible Johnson is, and how good Ball can be. But I agree with you some, we have more overall talent than probably any ACC teams other than FSU, Miami, and Clemson. If we had an ACC football track meet we would probably place in the top 3-4 at every event.
But part of being a good team is being able to use this talent and potential to win games on the football field. And other teams with less talent, such as Wake, Maryland, and BC, have been able to do that better than us so far this year.10/25/2006 6:09:48 PM |

Wrong. Gt is one of the most overrated teams today in the ncaa. They don't have a running game, and if Calvin J has a bad game, they lose. Reggie Ball is not a good qb. He is turnover prone and has the tendency to choke in big games.

Yeah, Gt still remains 1 dimensional either way. Championship teams are well rounded. Our team would be more rounded if we could go "down field" with our passing game, instead of when our backs are us against the wall.

bullshit, we always play not to lose in the first half, running/screen passing the hell out of the ball, and when we get behind we actually try some longer passes and they work.

Thats just false man. It might appear that way to you, but its untrue. We run the same/similar passing plays the entire game.
