unless you do a sprint...the only way you can 'race' is with track times...because the checkered flag is just for when time runs out not when a certain person passes the checkered flag first.

Hmm, if you end up in one of the slower karts you won't be able to keep up, however skilled you are. Most of the karts are fine... but a couple are worthless, and regardless of how perfect your line is, you won't be able to keep up with the others. But, I imagine that's how it is at every kart place. They're a heck of a lot more consistent than the karts are VIR.

so i got like 35.xx my first night, was fun. I almost got flipped though

people are a lot more vigorous with "get the fuck out of my way and im hitting you for that" than I thought. when I would catch up to someone I would slow down and then try to pass them on an open lane, other people (i.e. everyone else) would just ram you the fuck out of the way. I didn't like that very much.
