Philip Rivers was a pretty big part of that. You also have to take into account that in today's college football, if your football team has a pulse, they get invited to a bowl game. Last year's bowl is the equivalent or lower of an NIT bid.

Even Mike O'Cain had a 9-3 year with a Peach Bowl win over a powerful (at the time) Mississippi State program. And he didn't even use DIAA teams to get those wins.

Amato gets ONE more year for me, if we dont atleast win 6 games in the ACC for the '07-08 football season, then I say Amato dont let the door hit you on teh way out, but he has ONE MORE YEAR!!

Out...I gave Chuck a chance.

1) How did we not recruit a QB when Rivers was around...did we think we could resign him?
2) Why/How do we have so many damn penalties a game...we fuck ourselves slowly, and seem to like it
3) Our play calling is pretty damn predictable...most of us on here call the play and series weekly
4) We have some good & some great talent on the team, why the fuck can we not use it right?
5) Who cares if we are close to winning when the game ends...who remembers scores?
6) Does keeping yourself close in the end get you to a bowl game?
7) Yeah, we beat FSU & BC, but look at the teams we lost to
8) If we lose to UNC I will literally throw up, and not wear Red for a year (thats a lie about the red), but I will be severely angered
