the problem is you don't understand how sports work. you can't just change coaches in the middle of the season. firing a coach midseason only leads to worse things. once you start a season with a coach its no turning back for the rest of that season. midseason firings are the nastiest thing you can do.

instead wait till the season is over than make an evaluation of how the coaches have done. sure you can vent after losses but don't go venting about games that havnt happened yet. after a few days its time to focus on the next game.

i don't hide the problems. i talk about them and get mad every saturday. but come friday i am hoping for the best.

i have no unreel expectations. thinking its possible to beat uva maryland wake unc and any other team we are better than talent wise and fully capable of beating is very realistic. i never expected to win an acc title but i said it was possible and pulled for it unlike you guys who gave up 3 weeks into the season.

you guys have a wierd beleif of what we've done changes what we can do

like if we beat virginia you think we can beat unc but if we lose to virginia you dont think we can beat unc when its the same team reguardless of what they did in the past.

had we beat wake maryland and uva i guarantee you people would say we had a chance to win out and that would be the same team that lost to those teams and you think have no way in hell winning out.

This is true b/c if we had beat those 3 teams....we would be a better team. You don't get better with 3 straight losses to teams that are not that good. (aside from wake who is ranked but I still don't think is all that good)

We have two good wins this year. We got our hopes up like we always do. We all thought it was possible to have a good season and win the division. We need to support the team the rest of the way out but I don't think by looking at us realistically, we can say we are good enough to win out.

that being said we never had a good team this year...akron played pretty much even with us, southern miss killed us, we got lucky and beat BC (just admit it people it was lucky), we did out play FSU but then have not played well at all the past 3 games...i still think we will beat UNC and maybe GT because they have pretty much clinched and ECU is about even with us so that is a toss-up but no way in hell will we go to a bcs bowl

Yeah but we didn't beat those teams. So we are a bad football team. We have two good wins. We got hot, it happens to teams every now and then. Something changed, maybe teams figured us out and know how to stop us. But its not the fans at all. The fans don't boo at football games. Seriously, there is nothing wrong with fans talking about possibly making a change come year end. No one wants him fired right this second. It's not like us talking about not being happy with Chuck is bringing the team down.

People need to get rid of the notion that wanting a change = bad fans. I didn't want Herb Sendek gone but I certainly didn't think those who did were bad fans, whatever that means. I do feel that those who root against NC State to facilitate that change, both in football now and last year in basketball, are bad fans.
