Yep me too...this was at about 7am of the New Mexico game years ago...we had already cleaned up the tent and it was time for some NCAA football on PS2. It was great when you could grill steaks the night before then go to bars and come back and crash in a tent.

Like in the FSU (?) gamewhen Chuck called for a review of the kickoff/punt that clearly was down on the 3 or 4.

we would have infinite tailgating times if people knew how to control themselves. ncstate doesnt. people drink too much and shoot each other so it comes down to being here for football. if you care about other games so much stay home. 4 hours is more than enough time to eat anything. you don't have to cook a whole pig just because its a football game.

Those fans deserve a return on their investment. ^^The chancellor functions as something of a CEO for the university. Oblinger is responsible for serving all of the stakeholders...the BOT, donors/alumni, NCBOG and NCGA, etc., not just faculty and students. If the "institution" was all Oblinger was interested in running, he should have stayed Provost.

For all her faults, MA Fox understood this, although she often strayed too far from faculty/students. Successful chancellors strike a good balance between all of these things.

For example-Panthers game Sunday night....we got out there at 1:30, kickoff was 8:15...There were people there before us. Maybe you should read up on http://www.southernfriedfootball.com and learn what real southern football is about. Not just getting drunk....good eats, good music,lots of fun. Key word is FUN. You can be sober around us and tailgate, just dont take away from the masses who want to tailgate from noon on for a 7 game. ok.
