i knew a guy who was pretty damn good in the 10th grade too. but that was as good as he ever got. does he have much potential or was he one of these kids that was fully matured in like 5th grade?

my cousin is michael jordan and he said he wanted to coach our womens basketball team and he averaged 300 points per half against girls.

He just had a growth spirt but he's still very coordinated. I think he has another few inches. His biggest thing right now is weightlifting.

needs to get stronger. He has alot of speed and finesse but he'll have to add on about 20 lbs in the next couple years if he wants to compete with Div. 1 players.

did you even read the rest of the thread???

7 PGs on the team, coach is adament about giving senior preference.

He made varsity but has been told that he won't play as much due to the seniors.

middle school is JV. and high school is varsity.

Your telling me a high school coach would bench a guy putting up 45 ppg in AAU. It pretty obvious you know nothing about high school basketball. Every now and then you might see a special player put up 45 points in ONE game, but to average that in AAU in this area is unheard of. Do you realize that there is no shot clock and only 32 minutes in a game? I hate to tell you, but Carmello Anthony didn't put up those kind of numbers when he was on the Gaters.

Why not? Just explain to me how a kid averaging 45 ppg could be flying under the radar so much. Jameson Curry holds NC's all time high school scoring record averaging 33 ppg his senior season against shitty alamance county competition. So anyone that can manage to put up 45 ppg in AAU most be quite a baller, and capable of dominating 99.9% of all high school competition. Out of curiosity, what AAU team is he on? The Gaters?

The ACC passed Wilcox because of his test scores, seriously. I went to HS with him and PJ Tucker, both great players but by the time Wilcox was a senior ACC schools had almost already passed him up because 1) his GPA 2) his <required SAT scores. Tucker was a diff story, and by that I mean I actually saw him in class/campus.
