Hopefully, we can get Atsur back at 100% before the season starts, we'll need him. Our 3pt shooting should go up and with another ballhandler on the floor, hopefully our turnovers will go down. We had 20 against Northern, way too many. Costner needs to calm down, 6 TOs and 4 Fouls aren't good stats. Fells although he struggled shooting, had 6 steals, 5 assists, 6 rebounds to go with 8 points. Solid contribution all around. Nice to see that although he struggled offensively, he never let up defensively. McCauley was strong on the inside, grabbed some rebounds. Overall, a very good test for a new team. Next year, with a whole year under these guy's belts and the addition of Hickson and Co. should be really fun.

northern state packed the lane and we got so many wide open 3s all game. they just werent falling. there seemed to be a guy wide open in the corner every play. they just didnt guard the corner and they did some really crazy looking switching on the baseline. the d was like a man zone it was really confusing.

horner is really good. costner was the biggest disappoint tonight as he seemed to just be in a different world. alot must be on his mind with exams and stuff. there were a few times the pass went to him and he never saw it coming and a few times where he hit layups against the botttom of the rim.

i really wanted to see poland play but i guess he is that bad.

the press killed us until we figured out just lob it to gavin and run everyone else downcourt and let gavin bring it up. mccauley missed the few dunks and fouled the shooter but the refs called this game tight as lamination.

i talked with brackman during the game and he is pretty cool.


did anybody see the dude in teh carolina shirt cheering very loudly the whole time for northern state. pple told him to shutup lol. brackman gave him the "no, not that pitch" look

Hard to read much into this game, since we only played five scholarship players and a walk-on logged over 30 minutes. Not to mention the fact that everyone has to adjust to having a new system this year.

Hopefully we'll see continued improvement, especially with Atsur's return and then Ferguson joining the lineup in late December.

mccauley is too hesitant with the ball around the basket. several times he'd be get the ball down there and be open, pause, then after everyone yelled he'd go for it. i think he'll be great for us later this sesason though.

^ i talked about it, he was not good at all, it was very disappointing. missed a dunk that was set up to him beautifully. that actually happened a few times that game with different players. GREAT passes to set up the easy dunk/shot and they missed it.

^^^ baseball will be a rebuilding year too, hate to tell you. we lost our starting 1b, ss, 3b, rf, cf and a handful of pitchers. oh, our dh too.
