yup severe food poisoning is horrible.

this summer, i was in turkey and was hit with a severe episode. went to bed at 9 pm after a hard day of adventure and sightseeing. woke up at 11 pm with an urge to puke. went to toilet and kneeled over the bowl. as i was done, i felt my pjs were wet. pure liquid shit had leaked out without me even knowing the smell was horrible.

threw up again 1-2 more times in the next 1 hour, but, the diarrhea continued until 9 am

i had to go from 11 pm till 9 am every 30-60 minutes, and after the first few times, basically it was just water coming out. it was horrible.

for the first time in my life, i really thought i was going to die.

i had a shrimp dish the evening before.

That was me, Valentine's Day 2005. I think I managed to throw up 12 or 13 times that day before somehow getting student health without puking on the way there. They gave me fluids and watched me for five hours before letting me leave.

Worst day ever, but the timing was really funny.

I went to student health when I was experience similar shit, and they gave me Cipro

I think they were just trying to get rid of it when they realized the terrrrists weren't going to give us all the thrax.
