So, when the hornets left and the bobcats came, the Sting changed their colors, but not their name?

I figured with the Hornets leaving the city would see an opportunity to get rid of the WNBA

Great game tonight with Duke v. Marquette @ 10pm in the finals of the CBE -- and the first big ACC - Big East game of the year, which is always fun. This is where I thought we would see Duke's first loss of the year looking at their schedule. I know most people were looking forward to a K v. Knight coaching matchup but Marquette is a damn good school (even though they have no Deiner for the first time in forever) and in a very down Big East look for them to make a lot of noise.

Marquette has one of the best sophomores in the country in Dominic James. I can't imagine K will let a very weak defensive player like Paulus stay on him. He is going to be a handful for Duke and the matchups seem to favor Marquette as Jerran McNeal (sp?) is also a very quick, atheltic soph guard. However, K is usually really good at making defensive adjustments so that should be interesting.

Marquette 85 Duke 81 is my prediction but it comes down to if someone like DeMarcus Nelson can slow down the athletic Marquette guards.

TRIPLE POST.

GTech-Memphis should be fun too. Lots of points in that one. No time for a crappy ass scouting report though like I did for the other game. I have actual work to do today

youre right, marquette-duke should be a good game. james is a potential all-american. dont forget about marquettes other guard in their lineup, wesley matthews who was hampered by injuries last year. it will be interesting to see how they try to neutralize their guards since nelson cant guard both mcneal and james.

I am leaning towards Marquette +5

The over/under is 149... was thinking over... but two games in two days leads to a lot of unders...

(an interesting sidenote, Jaybee1200 almost went to Marquette, they offered him a TON in scholarships)
