"What is the blue turf in Boise? Isn't that some type of rubber grass"

Not really. The blue stuff is just astro turf. They installed it in the mid-80's and a publicity stunt to get some exposure by national media. It worked, and now everyone knows about the blue field. All it is though, is funny colored turf.

"Was this like a store? or like a patch of ground?

You're telling me that the Washinton Redskins, the most valuable sports team in America, gets its sod from some place down by the river?"

why is this unfathomable to you? it wasn't like some ditch off tryon rd. or some crap like that. and honestly, the grass was pretty damn nice.

and you think the redskins are "the most valuable sports team in america"?????
