I'm pulling for App all the way. I hope they win a lot more National Championships. However no one(State fans) should let their "shit talk" be taken seriously. They can win the I-AA National Championship every year for all i care but App fans claiming they're on the same level as State is ludacris.

If any of you watched the UMass/Montana game last night, it was a great game and not as big a step down as some of you might think. The top tier FCS teams like Montana and ASU would be better than 1/3 of BCS teams

^im not sure about about 1/3, but the immediate success of teams like marshall and boise state after moving up is proof that some of the top teams can compete

If they were playing at home against the I-A team, I would take either of last night's team over maybe a quarter of I-A teams.

Last night's game was a good game. Montana let it go though.

As good as App. is playing now and as bad as we played down the stretch, if we played them at the end of the year they would have beaten us.

They are better coached, more disciplined, run their offense effectively and generally play good defense.

State simply has better athletes.

I would be interested to see how Edwards, their current QB would have played in that game. He did not play a down against us but have played almost everyone since. He is very fast, in the Mike Vick mold and is great for their spread offense

I've met that Lynch guy at a Christian music concert at App's convocation center.

He was a pretty cool guy.

I wonder how it feels to be 13-1 on the verge of your second and back-to-back championship and have that lone loss be to a pathetic NC State team.

UMASS's one loss came to Navy. These are two pretty good teams...in fact, I have no clue how Navy won that game, what with 7 fumbles and all

Then we could've finished up the season with a win.

Why does App's president want Tank Tyler to break their 160 pound quarterback in half before the Championship?

fuck that, the way their fans around us were talking shit I hope they lose. their fans were the worst of any game I went to this season. After the game they were like "at least we can go back to boone and enjoy our national championship." I hope they lose so at least those 4 dickheads can feel like crap. They aren't and will never be on the level of any bcs conference team.

^What a dumbass statement to make.

First they are a state school and we should support them.

Second, because a select few of their students/fans were talking shit that means they all do?

ASU fans are usually very respectful, or at least the ones I sat with were. But of course I was stuck in section 26 with the parents. They knew they were going to get beat, just wanted to put up a fight and they did.

why??? do we get money if they win or something? would you support UNC-CH in a bowl game because "they are a state school"?

how is it a dumbass statement to make? its just my opinion and who I will pull for. I pulled for them last year and then saw firsthand how their fans acted. I could care less if they are a state school, it doesnt make any money for us. Would you pull for unc in a championship game because they are a state school? I sure as hell wouldn't

App is so delusional about how they would fare against 1-A opponents they would probably swear up and down they could beat NC State by 2 TDs even though we already beat them earlier this year

its not just a few fans, most of them are that way. they probably think they would run on us now when the score would probably be similar. This was also one of the worst teams in 50 years for us as well

maybe its just me, but i went to uva, clemson and unc this year and didnt act like an ass the entire time to the other schools fans. especially when i know that we haven't won shit and aren't better than them.

Doesn't the ACC have profit/revenue(whichever it is) sharing? This means any appearance by a team in our conference gets the whole conference more money. That makes me happy, so I would support them
