Good question, another Louisville QB who had promise.

They should have kept him over Weinke, at least LeFlors could have improved he was young. Weinke is already past his prime.

agreed 3rd and like 12 and they run a draw with steve smith and johnson at the helms. get rid of the OC Fox.

as for LeFlors I saw alot of talent in that kid, mainly the reason why Brohm didnt take his starting spot...hate it for the guy because he seemed to have a high football IQ.

ok not even that...how bout when we had one last chance to score, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd down we run...THEN on FOURTH down we FINALLY pass and dont get it

Baker isn't bad, but Sauerbrun was by far the best punter in the league. Sauerbrun could pin the ball inside the 5 yard line from almost anywhere on the field, and he had enough control to make the ball bounce straight up instead of roll head-on into the endzone.

The linebacker losses are definitely killing us.

Are you kidding me??? This guy was fucking BRUTAL. This guy is badly in need of a career change he's worse than Jeff Lewis.

And Weinke played really well for us last year so it was smart to keep him.


Delhomme is what he is. An average QB. When we signed him to that megadeal a few years ago I bitched about it and everyone acted like i was a moron. The guy is so ineffective this year its not even funny. We are ranked 31st in 3rd down conversions because the guy just isnt finding open receivers.

The main problem yesterday was our offensive line though. The Redskins werent even having to blitz to get pressure on the QB. Thats inexcusable against a team thats ranked last in the league in sacks.

Henning is okay with me, i didnt mind the run plays at the end of the game because we needed yards not incompletions.

First of all we threw a deep ball to Steve Smith on first down. Then we ran on 2nd and 3rd because we were trying to get a first down or potentially move us into FG range. Personally i think we should have kicked the ~53 yard FG rather than going for 4th and 6 since we had been so ineffective throwing the ball all game.

The playcalling wasnt the problem. THe problem is we got ONE fucking yard on a play where the defense should have been defending the pass primarily. Williams is a good fucking back and it'd be nice to see what he could do if our line could open the occasional hole.

I dont understand why we havent been able to run the ball at all for two straight years

if they're going to rely on someone to get YAC for the first down in a situation like that, it needs to be Smitty.....maybe Williams.

Yeah Carter was thrown to yesterday 3 times I can remember. Two times on 3rd downs where he came up a few yards short and on that 4th down he came up a yard short.

after contemplation the answer is pretty clear, the problem is the O-Line
thats the only real change since our superbowl season
still great recievers, good rbs, same qb, just a different o-line

There will not be a qb change. Jake heats up at the end of the year. We can't go with a rookie and besides Weinke does not have Prohel to throw to. The panthers will still make the playoffs. And of course Dan Henning still sucks.

matt willig fucked us bad in one game las season, i mean completely fucked us over. i think it was a false start on a field goal that was made, then we missed it when it was moved back so we lost, or something to that effect.
