All she has to do is put one football player in his place, then she has the entire team by the balls. That's how you would get your discipline

What are the UT people saying about Cutlciffe being a possibility?

I think he would be a good choice and did great at Ole Miss for what he had.

Hmm.

We've hired a Search firm. From some of the negative articles recently regarding these I'm not too impressed yet. Fingers crossed.

^^^ my parents came here for thanksgiving, and my dad said that the local station in Tenn said that Cutcliffe had talked to NC State. He has made it well known that he wants to be a head coach again, but he lives in Knoxville and would want to be relatively close to there... so thats not all that many options.

He would be a really really good choice, best QB tutor left in college and definitely big on discipline

i love reading the steelers message boards. they at least give me something to hope for.

i think this guy just got fired from an underachieving school somewhere in the south, he had a pretty solid record.

Amaretto or something like that?

maybe look into him?

Yeah but Cutcliffe was at Ole Miss, they have been a football dormat for years now.

Look what he won with Eli Manning as his QB.

Seriously we need help with our QBs, and next to Chow, he is probably best at that.

-Mike Shula - coach at Bama, wouldnt leave there to come here, but if he is fired...

-Paul Johnson - coach at Navy for 5 years, was at Georgia Southern before that, which to me has "looking to move up when possible" written all over it, won back to back Div 1-AA Championships there. Think he is from NC actually, not sure where he went to school though... ECU maybe? App St?

-Jimbo Fisher

-David Cutcliffe

-Bo Pelini

-Jon Tenuta - DC and Assist. Head Coach at GT, supposedly does all the "organization/planning" stuff for GT

-Gene Chizik - DC at Texas, Auburn before that, really big on discipline

-Ron English - DC at Michigan, dont know much about him but after the job he did this year, why the fuck not

-Paul Johnson - coach at Navy for 5 years, was at Georgia Southern before that, which to me has "looking to move up when possible" written all over it, won back to back Div 1-AA Championships there. TFom NC, went to Western Carolina and App. State

-Jimbo Fisher

-David Cutcliffe - Guy I know the most about obviously. Went to Bama, Assistant coach at UT during the 80s, OC from I think 92 or 93 on to 98. Won 2 SEC Championships, National Championship as an OC, second nationally in scoring (42.8ppg). Head Coach at Ole Miss for 5 years, did good considering how bad they were, only coach there to win at least 7 in each of his first 5 years. Was picked by Weiss to be OC at ND but had to have heart surgery haha. Coached Shuler (hey, he was great in college dammit haha), Peyton, Eli, Ainge. Real good at teaching QB fundamentals, really loyal (fired from Ole Miss for refusing to fire his assistants),

-Bo Pelini - crazy resume, HAS to be a head coach here soon. NFL experience, coached nebraska for a bowl game, oklahoma, lsu etc... but a lot of people think he is going to Michigan State

-Mike Dunbar - OC at Cal, known to be really erractic though, change shit up for no reason just to do it, definitely a weirdo

-Charlie Strong (like him a lot) - Co DC at Florida, really good recruiter too

-Steve Kragthorpe - coach at Tulsa, done a lot with minimal talent

-Bill Cubit - Western Michigan, not a great record, but not bad with really really minimal talent

-Norm Chow - think you know him

-Bill Cowher - think you know him

-Jimbo Fisher - OC and and I think QB coach at LSU, everyone assumed he would leave LSU when Saban left, but stayed on. Was at Auburn before that just as QB coach i think, might have had one year as OC, cant remember if Tommy left at the same time Terry did or not

Damn, Mark Dantonio from Cincy was hired by Sparty. I was hoping he'd get a look. Great defensive coach who got a facility-less Cincy team very competitive...
