That's what was so adorable. Chicken bones don't hurt dogs normally, but the two of them got all freaked out anyway cause they loved Meaty so much.

Meaty was fine, but the doctor kept him for observation to appease Rob and Big. I mean, he called and was like, "Meaty has passed the bones. Everything is okay." And they were all "Meaty, never scare us like that again!!!" But it wasn't a big deal in the first place...they're just super cautious, doting parents.

the seizure was at the vet as a result of the stress from being at the vet. ive had a dog do the same thing, its not uncommon.

that being said chicken bones can hurt dogs, but according to my vet uncle (when we had a dog get into them) they usually break down on their own but they should be monitored. sounds like they did the right thing and bridget should shut it.

^^Yeah, I watched the episode.

They started freaking out over nothing. His ass was not wobbly. They got worked up like good new parents and took him to the vet. And the vet held him for observation until he passed the bones. There was nothing wrong with Meaty. The vet managed to remain serious for them, but there was nothing wrong with that dog.

^Don't tell me to shut it. Seriously. You do not take a dog to the vet because he ate chicken bones...that is a waste of everybody's time. Dogs eat all sorts of crap, and they are fine.

Listen dude, I saw the damn episode. And that dog was acting anything but "normal". He was weirding the hell out, and if I knew the he had previously ate "something" out of the trash can I would be concerned also.

The dog is a puppy, and puppies get into everything. You just have to be cautious. My friend lost his pitbull (adult) to a damn chicken bone. It's not that its dangerous for dogs to consume chicken bones, but its just one of those odd things that CAN happen.

They did the right thing by taking him. What would you prefer? Sit on your lard ass and watch him act uncomfortable while his eyes roll to be back of his got-damn head?

you do know that a chicken bone can tear the esphogial tissues as well as the stomach lining not to mention it could possibly poke a hole in his intestines. Or break through those tissues and puncture another organ such as a lung.

therefore the dog would have acid spewing into this body with no control due to a chicken bones sharp edge.

Bridgette you are an idiot, the dog was uncomfortable and going completely off teh normal for him...thus they carried him because he was acting so strange. The arc in his rectum or tail head was probably a signal saying a ceizure was oncoming...they did exactly the best thing any dog owner or person should do for any kind of odd activities as English Bulldogs are known to have many health problems anyways. So yes HARD chicken bones especially in a puppy can do some MAJOR damage believe it or not and given his symptons of acting out of the ordinary Rob did the correct thing and didnt sit there and call ther dog or owner a pussy for not acting normal or carrying him to get checked.

^Is it really that serious to call someone a pussy over this? We all know that it was part of the show. But it was something that randomly happened. No it wasn't 9/11, but it was a day in the life of Rob & Big that's why it made the cutting floor.

Im pretty sure more serious things happen in their lives that dosn't end up on the show. But meaty is apart of the cast also. Everyone knew meaty wasn't gonna die! But noone wanted to see the poor animal suffer.

On top of all that, you leave out the fact that he ate more crazy shit than chicken bones. He fuckin ate glue until they pulled him away from it.
