what happened was, Illinois was having trouble putting up good shots, b/c they kept slipping on the sweat that Gary was laying down on that side of the floor. unfortunately it's now working against the Maryland players, but they're used to it more since they have to deal with the slippery sweat during practice.

Vitale has tons of love for our program. He was one of the first to call Lowe a great hire and was always all about us under Sendek. No State fan should have a problem with him when it comes to respecting our program and it's tradition. His man love for all things UNC and Duke... well that is another story.

Also, Duke might be a nice Top 25 team eventually this year but they aren't anywhere NEAR a Top 10 team right now... I feel we can beat them with a healthy Atsur. They can't guard a team with TWO athletic guards (Fells and Grant).

^GT barely beat Penn State. They looked good against Memphis, but Penn State? GT should have wiped the floor with them. Maybe they just had an off night. They've definitely got the talent to be at the top of the ACC, but I wonder if they have the experience.

MD really impressed me tonight with that tough win at Illinois.
