first of all- it is not locked......just to start.

secondly- it is not just people trolling, it is you arguing with them back and forth and has turned into exactly what every other PS3 thread has (bullshit)

the thread is a waste of time for the most part and anyone with as many posts as you have should have taken notice to all of the other threads and been smart in posting it elsewhere.

HOW TO PROPERLY MODERATE CLASSIFIEDS:

1] MOVE/DELETE DELIBERATELY FALSE OR ILLEGAL THREADS (EX. FS: POOP, FS: THAT WATCH THAT GIRL SAID SHE LOST IN THAT OTHER THREAD, WTB: DRUGS, etc.)

2] DELETE ANY OFF-TOPIC POSTS THREAD ORIGINATORS DON'T WANT IN THEIR THREADS

3] DELETE/MOVE THREADS PER THREAD ORIGINATOR'S REQUEST

and that's pretty much it

anything more is a blatant abuse of power

well- fact is guys no matter how much u may not like me.... I have received numerous pms from people who are very happy with the way I have been moderating it thus far.

it seems the only people who genuinely dislike me as a moderator are individuals who don';t "really" post in classifieds. In which case those individuals don't really matter.

SO it is w/e for the most part- Until someone who genuinely matters pms me (ie: Jake or the other mods) then I am going to continue moderating as I do-

^^ wow- you are entirely too concerned with shit that a) you are not bidding on and b) was to benefit the buyer as HE WAS THE ONE BITCHING ABOUT THE BIDDING.

If peaople are bidding $0.50 and $0.75 on an item that runs around $700 it is fucking pointless. The bid I posted was to help with the bidding process. I would take it for the amount I posted but also note that i didn't post another offer afterwards.

you pm me about it and I explain that he wanted it that way and the bullshit up bids were dumb and yet you still come and post in here. Also take note, all of those bullshit bids that were change more than previous haven;t come through for him and he now has a BUY IT NOW PRICE listed.

that should say something about those who were bidding the change in their pocket more.

WTB: Nintendo Wii applies to anyone who wants to buy a Nintendo Wii by simply posting "I'm looking for a Nintendo Wii as well" and being able to see all those available in one thread...that seems logical to me.

it would be no different that a thousand other threads out there. we have had the discussion of consolidating popular threads such as cellphones, rentals, books, and gaming systems..... unfortunately no one like the idea so we don;t have it in place.

i did nothing worn- moody just has a bug in his ass because he thinks that by me posting that i am going to get a wii that he otherwise could have gotten himself. its kosher

^that's not true man. i just think having one thread for those things makes it easier for everyone, buyers and sellers and that's all i've said via all the pm's i've responded to.

in conclusion, i do not think ncemt_03 should be fired, but i think consolidation in classifieds is needed and would help to buy and sell frequently posted items.

I post this at the risk of having my own threads shown less than preferential treatment by ncemt_03, since he's already shown blatant favoritism in thread moderation. I believe this is also the reason why so few of the "frequent posters" on Classifieds have spoken out against what is fast becoming a major problem and a serious threat to TWW Classified's future.


I've been registered more than five years now, and the VAST majority of my posts have been in Classifieds. I've started hundreds of threads, sold tens of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise . . . when it comes to sheer volume about the only person who can beat me out that I know of is Garfus99. I think I'm more than justified in saying that I know the way Classifieds should and does work . . . and I think its beyond obvious that this is not working. ncemt_03 as a moderator is the worst thing to happen to Classifieds that I've ever seen.

I think we would all like a moderator who's actually around for Classifieds, but we would also like that person to be impartial and serious. ncemt_03 has demonstrated not only a complete and utter disregard for impartiality, but also a major lack of maturity. He's taken it upon himself to decide which threads are worthwhile and which aren't, is horribly inconsistent in his enforcement, and is giving his own threads and those of people he likes unfair advantage. If this farce isn't ended soon it will be the end of Classifieds as we've known it.


I can only hope that CrazyJ will take note of the debacle this has become and take action. I can only encourage those who feel the same as me to chime in, because if this isn't put to a stop soon things will quickly get far worse.

It's closed with a snobbish/hostile PM from the mod, referring to his rules. I look through the rules and don't see anything in regard to posting a link to a non-TWW auction. I mention this in my reply, curteously, and he doesn't respond. The thread remains locked.
