Some of us like to watch things in HD. HD Tuners and antennas aren't exactly cheap. Not to mention the hassle of having to set it up to watch one channel, and the fact that all the shows on ABC would no longer work with my TWC DVR.

So to answer your question about who really cares, I do for one. And I would bet a lot more people than you think.

^ Yeah. The main reason I stick with Time Warner over going antenna is because I can use their HD-DVR.

^^An antenna is an antenna...it doesnt have to be "HD" to get HD signals. You may get better results with one thats been tested with HD broadcasts and labeled "HD", but its not a requirement. And they arent that much....I picked up a pretty good indoor antenna for $30 from Radio Shack.

By the way, link? The only articles I found via google were all dated 2000.

Also, side note, inHD2 will be going away January 1st supposedly. The two inHDs are being combined, so assuming TWC doesnt replace it with anything (and theres no indication that they will), that will put TWC at a net total of 1 new HD channel in the past 2 and a half years. PATHETIC.

so heres something I don't understand why wouldn't Time Warner raise your bill another service charge are tax, I don't understand whats so hard about this. Hell they could charge $2 more and boom $1 profit.

I have found no proof of this, so PackMan92 either produce a link or STFU.

but people just can't live without their tivo these days........and I still haven't seen any links or anything proving that Packman's claim even has any substance; I wouldn't get your panties in a wad, I doubt it will ever happen.
