This was without a doubt one of the biggest disappointments I've ever endured at the movies.

Laughs are few. Shaun was an excellent non-stop parody of the zombie-slasher genre. One would expect "Hot Fuzz" to be a parody of the action genre.

Alas, it is not. It's got an unnecessarily complicated (and freakin' strange) plot. Strangely, this was one of the rare times I wanted to go to a movie that has very little plot.

And the last 25-30 minutes were not enough to satisfy. It just took forEVER to get going.

They kept the feel of Shaun of the Dead, but did a good job at making it its own movie.

I could not recommend this enough, it was like cinematic crack because as soon as I left I wanted to go right back in to see it again. "Everybody likes a little girl on girl action"...I nearly wet myself.
