yeah, that's the new location. I work at the North Raleigh location on the corner of Leesville and Strickland...amazing food, atmosphere and service!
oh and we do brunch as well that I've heard is amazing, havent actually tried it although I am looking forward to sinking my teeth in the filet benedict sometime soon.

The rockford is alot "nicer" and "fancier" than most of the pretentious places around here . . they have good wine and it's very relaxed. 12/4/2006 7:05:48 PM |

No shit, but it is still a very casual resturant. ThePeter made it sound like he wants a more upscale resturaunt.
The Rockford has great food, good wine list, and a laid back atmosphere at a really good price. However, this isn't a resturaunt for occasions or something. 12/4/2006 7:15:20 PM |

Casual seems to be more the feel for this outing, but then she said she's excited about going somewhere you'd go for say prom without it being prom since she hasn't done it before. I'm thinking a sports jacket outfit at most for myself, hard to say. Depends on what I pick though which seems to be determined by what you all think and the menu items I can find. 12/4/2006 11:33:18 PM |

49th Street Oyster Bar is fancy by my standards, and at any rate, I love it, and it's pretty damn close to campus 12/5/2006 1:10:47 AM |

Have you tried Caffe Luna? It is very fancy and nice but you won't break your wallet b/c it is very affordable.

518 West ftw, it was perfect. Cheap yet classy enough to suite the occasion. Would definitely do again. The dinner was awesome other than the waitress not paying any attention to my 'date' (pissed her off) but I thought it was kinda funny.
Thanks Tdub! 12/9/2006 3:12:57 AM |
