Dude, dont get the jag. It's ugly.
Try looking into Lexus, Mercedez, BMW if you are looking for class and style. Althogh i've heard some bad things about Mercedez since Chrysler bought them.

B if you don't mind expensive tires and lower gas mileage.

and how do you go from wanting an SUV to a coupe just like that?

my insurance agent suggested i get an SUV to get lower insurance rate.

my rate for a 2005 350z was $1800/six-months

but then again, i cant find a nice, relatively new X5 for around 25K

i dont like acuras, then only acura i kinda like is the RSX, but its weak.

So you've been driving for 2 yrs, and somehow have $25k to pluck down on a new car?!

Get a WRX and be done with it.

92 NSX???? Don't know how insurance is on one of those things, considering it's Acura (Honda)

I'd go with ^ though. $25k gets you a VERY nice 04/05 WRX, or an 04 STI....

The Lux - The car for crazy people

The car was designed by such people as Abraham Lincoln and featured an in-console sink for compulsive hand-washing, along with enough trunk space to hold copious vials of one's own urine.

This has to be a troll thread, b/c if you knew fucking anything about cars you'd know that a WRX isn't a fucking ricer-mobile. There's nothign flashy about that car you fucking moron.

Yeah, but the WRX is one of those acquired taste type of cars. Either you love it or hate it. Personally, it's fun car but the looks of it doesn't really captivate my attention.

Yeah that's the downside. Of course i recommend getting an extended warranty if you buy a car with that many miles. As far as reliability goes, BMW's are pretty reliable just as long as regular maintenance and check ups are up to date. What worries me though is if the previous owner is a young rich kid and drove the car like hell. But if its an old man in his mid life crisis than i trust the car should be in better condition. Just test drive it and take it to a good mechanic or bmw to have checked it out. It might cost you a little, but its a price worth paying for peace of mind.

Also look around at other M3's as well. So far price range has been from 22 - 35 k for around the same year model, but with a lot less mileage.

that M3 has a salvaged title
http://www.nemorerex.com/module-Pagesetter-viewpub-tid-2-pid-900.html

how much does a salvaged title bring down the price of a car?

No wonder it was so cheap. My bad...

Well from what i understand what a salvage title means is that the car was involved in accident or a natural disaster (floods, hurricanes, etc.) where the car was damaged and repairing exceeds the value of the car. The insurance co. would just pay the owner the depreciated value of the car so now the insurance company owns it. Then somebody comes along and buys it from the insurance company and fixes it, but now it has a salvage title. So of course the value of the car is a lot less than one with clean title.

Found a good definition:

A salvage title is an automobile title with a notation that the vehicle has been damaged in excess of approximately 75% of its previous market value. This notation gets applied to a title when an insurance company pays a total-loss claim on a vehicle, but then allows the owner to retain or buy back the vehicle at its post-damage market value, which is often negligibly low. Often a vehicle is still safely driveable even if technically considered a total loss by an insurance company, particularly with older vehicles where even minor cosmetic damage would cost more to fix than the vehicle's whole market value.
