Also, everyone thinking Butch Davis is going to turn UNC into some powerhouse is fucking stupid. I guess Im biased since I watched him set the browns back years with shitty drafts, I dunno. Maybe he justs fits the college game better but he was easily one of the worst coaches in the NFL during his time.

Offensive lineman usually redshirt, lift weights and eat for 3 years, and then play two. So I wouldn't expect an immediate change there.

And my concern for in-state recruiting is a serious one.

While i am not sure where exactly i stand on this new coach i do find it funny that BC fans are telling us to "make our reservations to boise early" when in fact if State had the same number of wins BC has had in the past few years we would have gone to a better bowl because we travel much better than they do. that is all

Guess I'll give him a chance, ain't gotta choice really. Just figured we had so much more. The problem here is he'll never take us to a big bowl. He'll plateau just like Herb did. BC consistently ranked in the Top 25, but never really "did anything." For State fans, I'll bet that's not enough.

Yea I am not sure were I stand on the coaching choice, if its true. But, I am gonna give him a chance. He did go 9-3 the past three years. Fowler needs to go though.

To all of you complaining that we hired a coach that we beat this year, think about it. It was a hail marry pass at the end. But more importantly if we hired bobby bowden would you still be bitching that we hired a coach that we beat 4 or 5 times under chuck.
