So who's the real Mason?

I think the vampire lady on the news today was a Free Mason.

Well, the fact that she is a lady prevents her from being a recognized mason. (some fringe lodges accept women, but they are not recognized.) She could, however, be involved in Eastern Star.

I knew one. He was a dick. My opinion of freemasons was irreparably damaged.

Both my grandfathers but not my father are masons, does that make me a legacy? I was too little to remember, but apparently my dad's dad's whole lodge came to my granddad's funeral wearing their Masonic garb and stuff. Hell, my grandfather may have even been buried in his... I wish I'd been old enough to remember more...

Any master mason in good standing is entitled to a masonic funeral. Also, a lot of master masons are married in their aprons. I know I will be. (hopefully, many many years from now!)

^ I would go along with him. My grandfather's lodge required 3, but Mason's as a whole have "official" rules. My grandfathers lodge was very picky, even about family members.
