the cincinnati game was an anomaly due to turnovers (32 OF THEM!) and we only lost by 9

the team is definitely doing better than expected before the season, so i don't know what you're talking about

^6 Anyways yeah I too give a rat's ass about basketball and was at all of the games over the break, since I don't live too far away. I think the fact that this is Christmas/New Years and most people are traveling or on vacation and are away from school and can't easily watch the games on tv (fuck TWC and ESPNU) is more the reason for that. Plus there wasn't that much to talk about from last night's game, a few sick plays, still kinda sloppy, we blew them out in the second half. It looked more like one of last year's games against a cupcake team in December, not a whole lot to say about it.

UNCW is about equal in admissions now as state. I went to UNCW for undergrad and took classes here as an undergrad as well. I'd have to say they truly are equal now. Oh and on that video of the post game highlights me and my buddy demetrius are the retards behind mike hall and the other announcer guy. Pretty funny to see how dumb I am behind the guy. GO PACK.

Ok, i've done the same(taken undergrad classes at both schools).....not the same.
The intellectual atmosphere at State is a level above UNCW.
The classes at State feel more challenging and worthwhile.
And unless you worked in the admissions office of both schools, then how do you really know the admissions are "equal"???

I am a huge NC STATE homer, but I am at least honest with myself that's how. The admission requirements is HOW I know. UNCW is growing into being the 3rd best public school behind UNC and NC STATE. 10th best rated public university in the south now for the 4th straight year. Glad to get my undergrad degree there. Here was equal in MY opinion. As for sports I cheer all for nc state but I was at UNCW when we were actually good in basketball. From about 98-06 UNCW was in the tourney every year.

1. I think that state students do care about Pack bball. Just a little less observed right now, bc of the holidays.

2. UNC-W is not equal to NCSU. You might think so because you went there, but that equates to nothing but bias.

3. Didn't get to make it to the game, but heard second half looked good.

our second half's seem to always look good... is it that we just come out flat in the 1st and our players dont think that they are as good as they really are.... and that at halftime sidney can get to em and get it through their heads that they can come out and play the way they do in 2nd half's, who knows. but im downright lovin this season. especially the bama game when the fans were awesome and clapped even though we lost. thats just love

Yeah, I went to the ECU game and was impressed with the second half play. If we can put together a full game, I think we would be able to compete with ACC play. If not, then ACC play will put a hurting on us. Not that it wasn't expected anyway.
