I'm laughing more at the idea that anyone is actually free from bias. 1/12/2007 2:43:52 PM |

I think the only real case for bias on NPR would be that the people who tend to call in are left of center, so a large chunk of the conversation is from that viewpoint. The same bias exists on most shows, with the tilt being different for each one. However, the real bias is how people who disagree are treated. Getting yelled at and having their mics turned off is how guys like Boortz and Rush usually respond. But not all conservative hosts are asshats. 1/12/2007 3:41:01 PM |

also the guests that are invited are more likely to be liberals (not sure whether this is because they are more likely invited or more likely to accept). 1/12/2007 3:51:52 PM |

These press-folks really think they are unbiased. It's so hard for them to see their political feelings infused into the choice and substance of their stories.
I wish they would just tell us their leanings up front.

I dont think the guests on NPR have that much of a bias. It seems like most of the time they choose people who are supposed to be free of bias.
Except on latin american issues. I think they definetly lean left on those. 1/12/2007 11:07:23 PM |
