My point was that most duke fans are bandwagon fans, and most of them would never have a chance in hell of going to school there.

I have no problem with this, however, if you cheer for "school A," but do not go there, do not for one second think it's ok to boast about "team A" beating "team B" to someone who actually goes to or graduated from "school B." Keep the bandwagon cheering between fellow bandwagoners (Word?). In other words, I have no issue with you bragging about "team A" to your mailman, barber, or local walmart cashier. Just dont boast to a student/alumni of "team B" or any affiliation of "team B," because that makes you out to be a pretty good punchline

haha classic case of support the team you go to school at. once you leave there you can turn back to liking the team you liked growing up. hard to believe that you can go to NCSU and be a UNC fan. If NCSU gives you your education what has UNC or duke done besides play sports?

but hey, which team you cheer for should be closely related to which school you went to. if it's not, then what's the point of college sports at all? if you still like duke, or whoever, that's fine, but how can you hope that they beat your own school? that's like getting into a fight and hoping that you lose b/c you like the guy you're fighting more than you like yourself. lame.

I don't understand how you don't pull for the school that you go to. My dad was a big UNC fan, and then he came to State. He's been pulling for State ever since and can't stand UNC.
