The difference between joe and I and you is that you don't really care much about this section. You read what people posts, and if the inkling hits you just right, you'll add your 2 cents that no one cares about and doesn't add anything to the thread. Typically, your 2 cents come in the form that all politicians are evil, or that liberals are idiots.

Joe and I, if we are posting in the thread, are typically putting some effort into it. If you see a troll post, it has probably come LOOOONG after other posts where we were attempting to have a normal discussion, then folks won't admit their logical fallacies when they make them, and the debate is dead at that point.

however, you do continually bust on people for trivial trivial typos and grammatical errors. i constantly see you doing that in TSB and other forums. it's completely irrelevant, uninteresting and obnoxious, regardless of whether you're an ESL or native speaker.

but my real issue, is that this entire thread is the absolutely worst "Best of ____" thread Ive ever seen here. Except for maybe a couple instances, it's just full of douchebaggery.

Twista's raison d'etre appears to be for trolling this forum. he brings so much retardation it's mindboggling. no one in their right mind would bother trying to form a serious reply to most of his shit.

Hooksaw is, by and large, nothing but empty rhetoric and flamebait. once again, you just cant meaningfully debate continual strawmen and red herrings.

I'll be the first to admit, however, that both of these two guys CAN (and do, on occasion) post some thoughtful, insightful comments. and i've had some back and forth with each of them on occasion.

but those times are few and far between.

I do that in chit chat for sure, and sometimes the lounge, but not in TSB. My post quoting Kay_Yow was not a "bust" as you say, but I genuinely found it funny. Again, I really can't see how you can't find it funny if someone says that so and so has been sentenced to 100 years of community service. But also, I do realize that everybody is different, and different people find different things funny/interesting/ugly/beautiful/whatever. So, you DON'T have to find it funny just because I did. And in return, I don't want people busting me because I found something funny.

And even in chit chat, I have stopped pointing out ludicrous spelling mistakes and such, because certain users object to it all the time (not you), and so I have stopped.

Look, I generally like/agree with your views, however, a month or two back, you started busting my chops for certain of my posts/view in TSB/Lounge. And I just found that to be uncalled for, because I always desisted from busting on you when I read something by you that I didn't agree with. I just want civility, that's all.
