How many people actually get a tent? My friend is wondering the point of getting one since there probably isn't gonna be much sleeping going on...but I'd like one in any case, kind of a home base to chill in.

just noticed while checking UNC campout stuff that I was penalized for the clemson game.... that I attended. Anyone know how to try and get this fixed or is there really no way too?

Your ticket reflects your tent order which has already been constructed. The better ticket you have the lower number tent spot you have, same as always.

tent # 29. WOLF CREEK with 15 of us. and we got put in section 127 row 9. not bad i guess. ^^ but then again i see a group that is like tent # 108 and they are 2 rows behind us dude.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our group isn't going to be able to have 50% at 7:30 (incidentally, the number of people for our group on that list is totally wrong according to the group leader). Should I just cancel the ticket that's already in my account, or will it be removed automatically later? I want to be sure someone gets it, but who knows what'll happen to the computer system if something unexpected happens.

^ i don't know man, shoot the student government/ticket people an email... believe it or not, they've actually helped us out in the past... i mean canceling your ticket may be a good last resort, but maybe they can help with another alternative before it comes to that - and they're also actually pretty good about getting back to emails in a semi-timely fashion

well, interesting night to say the least. The car bash took an unexpected turn when some idiots decided to flip the car over and gas and other fluids leaked out. Apparently hazmat had to be called and the police got some of them to turn themselves in. Congratulations to Derek of group 100 and something for passing out drunk behind Reynold's and taking an ems trip to the hospital. I'm sure you'll feel good after you get back from the hospital.

wow, way to blow the car thing out of proportion.

while i agree that they shouldn't have flipped the car over, it was just a momentary lack of judgement. no one knew there was gas in it (and that was all the leaked out) because when you get a junker car, THERE ISNT SUPPPOSED TO BE GAS IN IT.

Could you imagine what would have happened had someone hit the car wrong with the sledgehammer and sparked at the tank? or put the slidgehammer through the rear panel of the car and into the tank while smoking? As much as the fault lies with the guys who flipped it over, some of the blame has to be shared by whoever went and got the car and whoever gave it to them.

and the whole "hazmat" thing was a couple campus fire safety guys with buckets of sand and kitty litter. i was acutally impressed with the response from campus police/RPD. they called in a few extra people to make sure no one got near the gas, and that was it. when it first happened i had images of riot control gear and tear gas as their reaction.
