the security guards were cool with people rushing the court. they even directed us on there! i definitely ran up and hugged courtney fells AND gavin grant!

last time i rushed (duke 02/03) they kinda directed us as well, but i just followed who was in front of me

No, they dont' care for basketball. I was talking the RBC center guy before the end, he said they have to block the exits until the clock hits 0. Then they have to go protect players that are trying to exit the court so they don't get trampled. But he said as soon as the clock hits 0 they are letting us through! So we went!!

there is nothing they could have done. I was waiting behind the basket on the band end and as soon as the clock hit zero, the push from the crowd behind me was quite immense. Not to mention the chairs being in the way causing several people to get trampled.

they would probably just rather let it be [somewhat] organized and protect the players rather than try to hold back and have an half assed attempt at keeping the court clear

and the staff were nice to let us stay there as long as they did with the hockey game coming up
