'my violent heart' sounds different enough (thankfully) than anything else, at least that i can recall.

it could almost be a modern interpretation of a song they would have done for 'pretty hate machine'

when "me, i'm not" was found on a usb, another file was on there and when run through a spectrograph analyer it revealed the phone number 216.333.1810. i called it and it is disturbing.

ok, we've heard 4 songs so far. what can we say about this album? where's it headed?

you can tell these songs have a similar mood to them. lots of crisp echo industrial beats with heavy distortion and static. theres not nearly as much guitar this time around. im trying to find the thread between the songs lyrically, but i dont have it yet.

which direction do you think its headed?

From the lyrics I have read...it seems like he has this uncomfortable lack of power in his life from something that has happened to him emotionally and he's trying to rise above and cope it out. Everything he talks about in each of the four songs mentions a greater power that he does not own. He's obviously been hurt.

He also mentions trying to help someone a lot...could be himself or a loved one.

That's just my interpretation. I could go further into each song with quotations, but that might be over kill on the tww. haha...

I'm reading all the stuff at all these websites and this is one of the coolest things I've seen put together in a long time. If he keeps adding to this up until the release, I won't care if the album is all rubbish. It'll be worthwhile for the literature.

not sure what i think about "my violent heart" and "survivalism"... but i really dig "me i'm not" and "in this twilight." both remind me of his older stuff (esp. "in this twilight").

i'm too am trying to make sense of all of the crazy marketing and how it relates to the CD, and what the common thread might be in his songs... i'm going to have to think about this for awhile.....
