Yeah, that's right. In Greensboro after the Washington buzzer beater by Rip.. I had completely forgotten about that though we all knew going in after that tough game against Washington that UConn had no chance in that one. Certainly not as much dislike b/t UNC and UConn as there is Duke-UConn. The Laettner shot, the Rod Sellers incident the following year in the Sweet 16, the '99 final, the '04 Final Four, etc, etc..

I'm cheering for the game to end in a tie. I don't want either of them to win.

Yeah, it won't happen. But maybe just maybe they'll go to octuple overtime and every player fouls out. Coach K and Roy meet at halfcourt and both say they'd rather get a bucket of chicken at Bojangles then coach anymore. When the ref tries to tell the two of them that ties cannot happen in basketball, both coaches yell at the ref and the ACC ref relents to their almighty coaching prowess and lets them have the call and the game ends. Dickie V will be at the announcer's table saying "IT IS AWESOME BABY!" The Cameron crazies would cry but would be unable to cause they all collapsed after cheering and jumping non-stop for six hours without food, and will all fail their exams tomorrow after staying up to 2 in the morning watching a game that went to octuple overtime end in a tie.




I'd rather see Carolina lose than Duke lose. I know more Carolina fans and I get along with Duke fans better than Carolina fans.

I really don't know how you guys hate Duke so bad. Mike K is probably the biggest class-act coach in college basketball off the court. He was best friends with our Coach V, and he said in his press conference after the State game, he said N.C. State are his favorite fans beside Duke fans.
