Peppers was an all American all-around player both his Junior and Senior year. he was a badass on the football field at any position, but unfortunately he was either the only talent they had or he was under a dumb coach. We spent all week at practice focusing on how to shut down peppers, and he still broke loose on a tight end slant route on the first play of the game for an 80 yard touchdown. After that, we put 3 guys on him at all times and won 56-7.

haha, I think i remember that game...weren't yall like garnet and gold/white? That school was ghetto

I just looked up the stats. Warren County lost at Southern Nash in '97 (Peppers senior year) 32-14

Warren County beat Southern Nash at home in '98 but we didn't have Peppers....Are you sure it was Julius Peppers? We did have another running back who graduated in 2000 and looked alot like Peppers.

where did you get your stats from? Warren County went undefeated until the playoffs in 97.

[Edited on February 22, 2007 at 2:49 PM. Reason : I was in college in 98.]

our school was modeled after NC Central university - Eagles, Maroon and Grey, token white kid on the offensive line.

[Edited on February 22, 2007 at 2:55 PM. Reason : and yes, we were ghetto as hell.]

I still don't know what this thread is about.

Concentrating on the fact that two players don't represent their colleges seems really silly.

What do you not get? This is an NC State message board, there are two players from UNC who do not rep their college when given the perfect chance. This equals funny to State fans. The end.

it wasnt that big a deal until you made it one, this guy just had a "non-believer" and wants to prove it to him, who gives a shit? you're the one that made it into a big issue.

I'm just not into it. It seems really petty.

It's like when UNC fans bash Sidney for not graduating college.

I said it on the first page. We've got better things to do than add up player loyalty.

Who cares what these two think anyway?

Back on topic...

Who has the 'UNC was the worst mistake of my life' quote from Willie Parker (I think it was the Pittsburgh newspaper?)

Beware of what Tarhole fans will tell you about Willy Parker. They will say he didn't want to waork hard, and riding the bench at UNC was his own fault. Well I'll tell you, Bill Cowher puts up with absolutley nothing, so if Cowher can get this guy to perform, a shmuck like Bunting should have, UNC fans saying Parker had a bad attitude at UNC is laughable whne you see who Parker played for in Pittsburgh, Bunting had the man who set a superbowl record on the bench, brilliant!
