I went to Cycle Gear today. Great store, helpful people. I really liked their Arai helmets, they fit my head (especially my ears) really well. But no one has really mentioned them at all, any thoughts? 3/3/2007 10:51:48 PM |

if u wanna spend an arm and a leg sure. that helmet prob costs half of what u got ur bike for. go to team powersports down the street and try on scorpions. 3/3/2007 11:02:10 PM |

Arai should be about the same as a Shoei in price and safety. Didn't they show you prices at the store? All Arai should be over $400 but they are definitely good helmets.
+1 on the Nighthawk 250 - that's what I learned on and I have no regrets. Honestly I really miss the 70 mpg in town. 3/4/2007 8:20:18 AM |

I think I'm gonna get a Dainese jacket, I hear they are supposed to be one of the safest choices. And that scorpion helmet is pretty tempting, that should be a good start for now. 3/5/2007 3:05:06 PM |
