For anyone who is interested Carrboro Plaza Veterinary Clinic is having a table set up at Southern Village in Chapel Hill tomorrow from 1 until 3pm. Several local businesses will have tables set up there, so if you’re in the area, catching a movie, or eating down there, stop by and say hi… and grab a free dog treat. (also as a side note we are hiring in reception if anyone wants to send applications to carrvetcl@yahoo.com) 4/20/2007 10:38:27 PM |

^^you need to have a masters (or phd in some states) to be a school psychologist.
if you want to use your psych degree - check out http://www.eliada.org/employment/rise. you work with kids with various psychological and behavioral disorders. it's what i'm doing next year and i know they need more people. i'll admit - the pay is crap, but it gives you experience and puts you in touch with so many people that can help you when you are done with the internship.

just go sell agua sin gas on the inca trail.
also, try going thru the city of raleigh or wake county. they may not pay a whole hell of a lot more (it depends on the positions and there's a wide variety of things you could do) but both are good places to work. 4/21/2007 3:15:15 PM |

takes greater than 3.0 to transfer in
which last I checked, was more than the required 2.5 to transfer to engineering
who knows why 4/22/2007 11:38:20 PM |
Noen All American 31346 Posts user info edit post |
likely because engineering courses are worlds more difficult than COM courses. 4/23/2007 12:38:29 AM |

then shouldn't it be the opposite? harder to transfer into engineering? 4/25/2007 7:11:31 PM |

they're a community hospital, so all the mexicans and uninsureds are sent there. My wife just finished a rotation there, and they're pretty hard up for translators from what she was telling me. 4/27/2007 4:03:47 PM |

After being on monster, career builder, hotjobs, having numerous scientific staffing agencies helping me, and looking at university and govt jobs, it was ultimately craigslist that came through with just an all-around great job for me. I love what I do, the benefits are great, and the pay is better than I had hoped for (I'm an environmental consultant). If you're not already on there, I'd check the postings once a day. 4/27/2007 4:10:12 PM |
