idk -- the RDU convoy is leaving here in a couple mintus 15-20 minutes, apparently updated arrival time is 8:20pm-ish.

a guy on packpride just stated that airport security had the area around general aviation at RDU on lockdown security-wise, not even the media was going to get a good shot at the team. word is to meet them at w-b. the flight is scheduled to land at 8:26 at RDU. They should be at W-B around 8:45 then or so.

we had ~50 at the airport, got to shake hands w/ the players and talk w/ Coach Lowe for a bit. ~200+ at the Dail Center afterwards. the players hung out for a good 30-45 minutes just talking w/ folks, taking pictures and everything

it was a blast. and apparently on the plane ride back, Fells was telling everyone how he had a craving for some Krispy Kreme donuts

shortly after they got off the bus, he walked through the crowd shaking everyone's hand and thanking them for coming, took a few photos w/ some of the ladies, then walked to his car and rolled out. some of the players said he wasn't feeling well ::shrug::

I had to be a slave to the man and work this evening, pissed I didn't get to welcome the boys back home. They did such an incredible job, even if the entire student body showed up I don't think they could get the welcome back they deserve.

After a week where I ran into some personal problems, it was great to BELIEVE in something and watch our team succeed. It puts that glorious wolfpack spirit back in my bones, and I think I'm gonna have a really good week.

THANKS FOR EVERYTHING PACK!!
