Maybe you dont have HD, I dunno, but Ive compared similar packages between TWC, Dish, and Direct, and it seems TWC is slightly cheaper (albeit with less channels). But then you have to add in finding a new internet option (I have RR) and potentially needing to get a phone line. Sure, I could get DSL, but I would like to keep RR as Id still be able to pick up the QAM HD channels from TWC, as this would still be my only way to record and archive broadcasts in true HD (as well as receive early NCAA tourney games in HD for free).

for the people looking past the first game

it took me FOREVER to drive to oklahoma city (which isnt too far from okST (stillwater?) if i remember correctly). like in one day i made it to nashville, and the second day i drove forever and made it to ok city at about 3am central time.

and its gotta be just as far, if not farther from philly. looks doable on paper but its a bitch of a drive. bring lots of people and coffee

And yea, unless you cant for some reason, you are a fool to not switch to Direct TV, cheaper, more channels, better quality, and MUCH better customer service. I've had it for about 5 years and have only had it go out due to weather maybe 3 times for a total of 5 minutes. That still put be ahead if you only count the time wasted on the bullshit TWC 10 hour "installation window"

I might go to Sammy's tomorrow if I have time, but I have serious concerns about this game in that after putting their entire bodys and souls into the last four games whether or not they have anything left, mentally or physically. Drexel's not a bad team and the entire goal they were playing for was to get out of the NIT and into the NCAA. Either way GO PACK!!!! I hope they go all the way so I can go see them play in Madison Square.

to be fair, they don't do that any more. it's like 4 hours (and sometimes more specific than that).

of course the only reason they changed that was because of a federal class action lawsuit, iirc.

and the main reason i wouldn't do direct tv is the internet part.

Side note: While the weather is no reason to not get dish, the HD DVR box for dish sucks compared to TWC. You cant be taping one HD channel while watching another live channel unless you have ANOTHER BOX. Phuck that. It's why I still choose to get ripped off by those bastards at TWC.

They have some terrible losses. They lost to Old Dominion by 25 and 10....what beef do they have?

I am finding it hard to give much respect to many of these mid-major teams unless they showed they can already beat decent major conference teams. We have played against tough competition in the past two months and Drexel will seem like a breather.... Their only decent win was over Villanova, but Villanova only made the NCAAs because the Big EastEasy was crap this year.
