We all can agree that the bad press is not good for NCSU or Tdub.

What we have to realize is that if we want to keep Tdub private for NCSU people, then we have to NOT publicize ourselves like that. Isnt it obvious by now that WRAL is a majorly tarheel-run station and that Tdub cant "fight" for us against that kind of press? Unfortunately, we do not have a majorly NCSU-sympathetic news station around here and even if we did then they wouldnt be able to defend us against blatant racism accusations. Agree with the overassertion of political correctness or not ~ you have to admit that the public sees it as a positive influence that should be followed by all.

Quit bitching at CarZin, none of this was his fault. Its the fault of those Tdub posters who are allowing our enemies in the press to gather ammo against us to further label us as racist, redneck, MOOU.... If that kind of stuff stops, then less modding will be necessary and we can all get back to having our fun in just about any ways we want....

wral is very pro nc state if anything at all. they're across the goddamn street. when i worked at ruckus, some of the cast and crew would come in to eat, and alot of them cheer for the pack. if they were pro-unc, they could've killed us in the tww piece. they didn't though, and were actually pretty fair to us, most media could care less about fairness.

If you are one of the users who were suspended and released over this mess spare us the pity party about how you only said this but someone else said that and they didn't get suspended. No one cares. I decided that it wasn't fair to keep everyone suspended since it seems there was some uncertainty about our posting guidelines regarding this matter.

CarZin has laid out the new policy and he did not stutter. Note, this is not like cussing in a thread title or making a stupid parody thread. I'm not going to PM you about this. I support CarZin and as he said, violation WILL result in immediate long-term suspension. There will be no further warning.

There are a lot of State fans at WRAL, yes, but theres plenty of UNC to go around too (particularly amongst the higher-ups at both WRAL and CBC). I would say that they cant be biased against State because CBC owns Wolfpack Sports Marketing...but then again, maybe thats why our sports marketing is so unbelievably awful? As far as why they didnt kill tww with that piece, they pretty much only scratch the surface of everything...cant really get a "kill" out of that.
