i mean, i only stuck one in the tdub group, but why would you not fill out all 5???

I've got 4 going but only 2 are ones I paid to enter and I only care if I win one of those, it's the biggest pay out. So I'll only really brag about that one. In all 4 I pretty much have the same final 4, I just made some changes in the first 2 rounds of games that I thought would be upsets but I didn't want to count on them in my 2 main brackets. Oh and if I win the tww espn bracket I'll brag about that one of course.. haha

I have my "master bracket" that I use for office pools and bragging rights w/friends. In public leagues like the other 4 yahoo and espn ones I can make, I don't give a fuck if they suck, but if I can win money, why not have more opportunities to do so?

if I filled out two brackets, I would have all the same winners but change the total score of the final game. one for a low-scoring game and one for a fast paced double-overtime thriller.

I do this too
I do have multiple brackets on ESPN, Yahoo, etc... but they are also about the same except for an upset here or there and not remembering exactly who I had picked winning certain games. My Final Four was mainly the same and so was my winner.

filling out brackets (and sports betting) encourage bandwagonism. you can

a) fill out your bracket with the most likely winners and root for them because it makes you look smarter

b) fill out your bracket with the most likely winners and root for your favorite teams but inside you really want the team you chose to win so you don't look so dumb, or

c) fill out your bracket with your favorite teams and look like a total chump when they all lose to carolina

now while my ideas may be intriguing to you, i regret to inform you that i do not have a newsletter

of course, I've only had one the past two years

I usually do multiple brackets to test out formula ratings and also against history:

1. My real picks
2. RPI bracket (This year's RPI champion, UNC)
3. Pomeroy
4. my formula bracket
5. my historical bracket, where it tests against the history of each conference in the tournament.

Guess which one ALWAYS does the worst? That's right, the RPI!

sometimes i make my bracket have UNC win it all. Then when they go far I get a lot right, and if they lose earlier I have NO PROBLEM with my bracket being screwed up, b/c they lost

When we are in the tournament I will fill out two. One real bracket and one where State wins it all. Hopefully those two brackets will merge sometime in the future, and I can predict State winning it all and have it a real possibility of happening.

I don't play in any sort of betting pool. did an online bracket contest one time and it took the fun out of the tournament. I just like pulling for my favorite teams and the underdog. If you really want to win then you have to pick teams you don't like most of the time to win.

I don't have any acc schools getting past the sweet 16 (I got Butler beating unc in the second round).

^the only thing that would be sweeter than that would be Hansbrough fouling out 3 minutes before Butler pulls off the upset. Maybe then we could get some nice closeups complete w/ towel on head

or i don't really give a fuck, save an internet post, that many you need to compensate for the size of your manhood by making "definitive" statements out here on the brave intarweb
