no, you didn't read that very carefully. they haven't released because they don't have a label and they figure that the label would also want to market it.

also, that post above is speculation from a message board.

I don't like radio head so much, it seems too noisy and random and the singer's eye is weird

Most of the venues they played in the U.S., but for Bonnaroo, were 5,000 seats and less. The show I saw them at held around 4,000 to 4,500 people. (two nights at the Tower Theater, Philly).

Lots of new updates on Dead Air Space... they're using funky code symbols now.

Also, http://www.radioheadlp7.com/

Apparently the symbols below the Login button mean "not yet"

And the wikipedia page is getting updated / vandalized:

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Radiohead&diff=160321086&oldid=160320889

"Not Bombs... Just Firewrks"? November release? Seems doubtful...

I haven't wanted an album this bad in years. I think Radiohead is one of those legendary bands of this era that's going to be remembered fondly 40 years from now.

aha, there are already wiki updates on it

as of right now I find it strange that they aren't releasing the CD and vinyl separate.
I preordered it anyways.

Videotape and Nude (finally!)

this is so unbelievable... they've included everything. I can't think of any songs that I was hoping for that aren't here.

CD 1 AND VINYL
15 STEP
BODYSNATCHERS
NUDE
WEIRD FISHES/ARPEGGI
ALL I NEED
FAUST ARP
RECKONER
HOUSE OF CARDS
JIGSAW FALLING INTO PLACE
VIDEOTAPE

CD 2 AND VINYL
MK 1
DOWN IS THE NEW UP
GO SLOWLY
MK 2
LAST FLOWERS
UP ON THE LADDER
BANGERS AND MASH
4 MINUTE WARNING

[Edited on September 30, 2007 at 8:24 PM. Reason : excited as hell]

15 Step is the only new song I didn't care for. I actually didn't mind Reckoner at all except for the silly first chorus. It has a very similar vibe to Myxomatosis if anyone hasn't heard it. Not sure what the studio version will sound like though.

the only version of reckoner i've ever heard was the live version from a concert in washington sometime in 2002ish

and it more or less sucked

i like the guitar riff and the 'feeling pulled apart by horses' part, but i could do without the 'papapapa'

There are 2 options:

1.You can get a digital copy of the 10 track album for any amount you want (even free if you want). This comes out on October 10th.

2.You can get a digital copy of the 10 track album, the CD version, and the vinyl version. You also get the 8 extra tracks on CD and vinyl as well. The digital download comes out on October 10th. The other things will be mailed to you in early December. There are no shipping costs. Its just 40 pounds which is around $81.

I think it's awesome how they beat the system (and by beat the system I mean finding a way to avoid the inevitable "leak"). I doubt there's anyone who wasn't totally surprised by this.

Just checked my Wachovia account and it costs me $81.65.

I wonder how the second wave of this will be released? I'm sure eventually they'll find someway of putting this in stores by Christmas or early 2008. I'm not exactly sure how the process of putting an album into stores is worked though.

Am I too hopeful to expect a tour to be announced by tomorrow at lunch?

Not that big of a Radiohead fan, but I just heard what they're doing with this album.

I just gotta say 'nuff respect. Hopefully more relevant bands will follow suit + help do away with unnecessary record labels.
