I never knew that Lego had a custom design section on their site through which they sell the parts for original creations. Pretty cool. This little Viper looks very cool and is apparently only $2.89.

In other news, according to Toyfare magazine, the first wave of 6" BSG figures is due on shelves (well, at least in online stores - I doubt these will ever appear around here) next month. The first 4 include Six, Chief Tyrol, Apollo in flightsuit, and... Hotdog. I'm not kidding. Hotdog is going to be the rare "chase" figure of the wave.

I think this is a good thing. I'd rather the main story arc not be dragged out any further, which I honestly felt did quite a bit in the third season.

In other news, Hasbro is rereleasing the Titanium Vipers in repainted color schemes. The Mark II Viper will have a dark gray and blue scheme, and the Mark VII will have the same white and red scheme as the original Mark II. Pics here:

Just jumped on board with BSG last weekend, watched the mini and half of S1 already...definitely hooked already. Ive managed to avoid spoilers, but read this news earlier...glad to hear the quality hasnt dropped much over 3 seasons and that it will get a proper ending (unlike Firefly...which I love how the space scenes are done very similar to Firefly...as well as the cameo in the mini ).

BTW, DeepDiscount (formerly DeepDiscountDVD) is having its 20% off sale...BSG Mini/Season 1 + BSG Season 2 2-Pack is $76.65 total...not bad.
