so if anyone listens to primetime with the pacman, they heard the QCB talking about this yesterday. He said something to the effect of:

those girls are wondering why imus said that......look in the mirror, y'all are nappy headed hos.

but you'll probably never hear anything about that........

I thought it was funny actually, but I heard today about a jock (who was undoubtedly white) in PA who got fired b/c he used "nappy headed hos" as the "phrase that pays" to get a prize.

I find the double standards pretty amusing too.

I've been listening to Imus for the past four years as I wake up, shower and get ready for work. It's not even so much that I loved listening to him, but it was so much of my daily routine that it's definitely going to be weird not having it around anymore.

Ironically the guy filling in for packman on monday? had a segment called the top10 Fugliest women in america ... and was confused why callers called him a hypocritical moron when he jumped down imus's throat

When I lived in Raleigh, the only time I didn't listen to 850 the Buzz was when Imus was on. His show sucked big balls and was not funny. I don't think the guy should have been fired, but at least people who like 850 won't be stuck with his old ass in the mornings anymore.
