yeah i guess ill holler at them in a week or two and go out there get some live instruction. those bars are working a lot better out now that i got used to them (for stunting. they still suck for riding). i'm sure it will be qute a bit easier to learn by hangin out watching these guys. watching videos is only so helpful. 4/8/2007 12:04:59 PM |

moparnum5's roomate is aias(aka Jason). I have some pics of his bike somewhere that I can download, but here's a link to the previous owner's webpage... shows what it started out like. Pretty sweet stuff.

yeah, they just recently swapped the handle bars. They've been trying to figure out the starting issue for a while now. 4/8/2007 5:52:59 PM |

I thought the show was good. I mean, it's nothin I haven't seen on youtube, but it was fun. Takes some balls to go and do that shit on that concrete.
But yeah, the work on the ex was done by the previous owner, who pretty much rebuilt the thing. It's a little banged up (mostly my fault), Mopar and I put the new bars on, and still need to fix the shifter...and that pull to the left it has.
Its had some electrical problems since I've had it, trouble starting/idling and the headlight fades in and out sometimes. I thought it was just a bad battery but I'm not so sure now, something must be loose. I took it out last night without touching it since the trouble at the middle school, and it started up twice no problem. So I dunno, seems to just have its good and bad days for starting up. I'll see if I can grab another pic or two... 4/9/2007 9:16:42 AM |

naw, we were sitting behind y'all about 10 rows back on y'alls right.

are you serious? yeah, i can see it now, "hey what's up man. i'm brian aka underpsi. i see you posting on tww and think you're cool so i had to introduce myself. by the way, you suck at shaving heads although i can understand how you can screw it up so bad since it's such a difficult style to cut. can i be your friend?". get real. i don't know you. we laughed when we saw your hair and even said, "that must be jbaz." (again, we don't know you and had to call you by your screen name since we don't know your name). we also commented about how you ride exactly like you cut hair. we didn't make fun of anybody else though because they didn't look like an idiot.

ok almost 100% positve now that it is loose battery cable. most likely right at teh bettery terminal or the grounding to teh frame spot. if you try turning the bike over a few times then look for it, it should be scorching hot at the point of loose connection (assuming you get the starter to turn) . or could be anywhere between the battery and the main fuse or starter relay.
