Hey! I have been looking to get a kitten/cat and yours are ADORABLE! Which ones are still avaliable. And when could I pick them up. I will be moving back to Greensboro for a week or two but i will be back in Raleigh the first week of June. Would that be too late to claim one?
Thanks Much! 5/6/2007 9:54:34 PM |

OneNighter86, they are free. She'll give back the $50 after you show proof that you've neutered the kitten. That's all. So it's kind of like those "free after rebate" deals, except you'll actually get back this money unlike a lot of those mail in rebates. 5/7/2007 8:36:54 AM |

UPDATE:All of the kittens are reserved except the black/white boy. They'll be ready this weekend. I am in NJ (with them) until Friday, so whoever reserved one of the babies, can pick theirs up anytime after Friday.

Also, if you're interested in the black/white boy, I dont mind holding onto him until the first week of June. That's fine. As long as you're sure you're interested.5/7/2007 9:01:09 PM |

^^hahaha i know. i was tempted to keep him, but i really shouldnt. theyre using the litterbox. all are very friendly, used to dogs (4dogs!)and other cats, and people, and a ferret. they're handled a lot, and love attention. 5/7/2007 9:37:27 PM |

that is fucking stupid and this is a dumb ass idea
do you have a contract written up that says you are bound to return or "rebate" that money?
if you give the kittens away then it should be up to the owner to decide
im not against neutering at all but im against this kind of forced deal5/8/2007 10:57:23 AM |

then get a kitten somewhere else^
all she's trying to do is do her part in the US's pet overpopulation problem
Many rescue groups do the same thing with puppies and kittens. 5/8/2007 11:10:14 AM |

I see nothing wrong with the 50 buck idea. She is just encouraging the new owner to get it fixed. 50 dollars isnt alot of money, and if you cant afford 50 bucks to put on hold, then you obviously cant afford an animal. Its like the pet store in greensboro mall who advertises thier pets by the monthly payments. Total BS, and only encourages people who cant afford them to pick one up. 5/8/2007 5:22:13 PM |

They sure are ugly. I hope maybe there is a blind person that need a cat or something. Or maybe a person that is really ugly and wants a cat that can relate to where they're coming from.

Uhhhh okay. Well, the whole refundable adoption fee shouldnt be an issue anymore, because theyre ALL reserved now! So quit gettin ur panties in a twist about the idea. Many others have not had an issue with what I'm doing. Like I said before, if you cant afford the money upfront, then what would make me think that you're in any condition to own a cat right now?? I really want these animals to be spayed/neutered, and there is only so much I can do once they are adopted, and this was the best thing I could think of. 5/9/2007 7:42:31 AM |

*UPDATE*
When I was in NJ this week, 2 people were interested in 2 kittens, but I was unable to get in contact with them before I left to go back to NC....so, the orange/white kitten IS still available, possibly the all black kitten, and possibly the black/white kitten. 5/13/2007 6:43:11 PM |

We just found out that Bob (one of the kittens that we adopted here from jersey86) made The Daily Kitten last month.
http://www.dailykitten.com/archives/date/2007/05/10/
He's much bigger now and even cuter than ever. He's getting along with our other cat who is now giving him a tongue bath.
Bob is the cutest thing ever and he's the best cat I've ever had. Thanks jersey86! 6/17/2007 5:01:44 PM |
