i just want to see dumbledore vs. voldemort in the ministry building, the book made it sounds amazing and I don't think Hollywood CGI will let me down

don't reread a book right before watching the movie cause then you'll hate the movie.

I try to avoid reading the books b4 movies also....I enjoy each for what they are since they do differ at points. But this one will be great...How soon will they start filming HBP?

I would like to see another quick turn-around and then leave me a lil hanging for the final instalment...

i know they're gonna butcher the movie like they did the 4th one. I mean it wasn't bad and all but i wish they had shown the quidditch world cup.

yeah I just finished 5 and 6 as well, it kinda pissed me off that Harry tried/ended it with Ginny, what, Ron and Hermionie won't be a target either? Seems like he was trying to be melodramatic...

I am more excited about the 7th book than the movie as 6 ended so abruptly....

still, OOTP will kick ass... so much going on, and I can't wait to see Umbridge get beat down!

The thing I dont like about the movies is they dont flow well for me...well, the first two did because the books were much shorter, but GoF just felt like a bunch of scenes at points...it's like watching a highlight show of the book. I realize they have to cut a lot out, especially since younger kids arent going to sit through a 3+ hour epic, although its a shame they cant give us the LOTR treatment and put an extended cut on DVD.

I dunno... I think she showed promise in the early movies for becoming hotter than she actually has become.

I'm not saying she's an ugly girl, I'm saying in the movies she doesn't look very attractive, which I've heard that's how she's portrayed in the books. In the trailers for this movie, she doesn't look good at all to me.

No, she's very awkward throughout at least the first three. The only place where she's described as pretty is at the Yule Ball in the fourth book. After that, since Ron starts liking her, it's implied that she's at least somewhat more attractive. But nobody's comparing her to Fleur: she's still no supermodel.

yeah, that's what I meant

she's portrayed in the movie as she is in the books, not strikingly beautiful

However, compared to Fleur in the movie, shes not that bad. I dislike how they chose a girl that isnt remotely as pretty as the book compares her to be yet they make Krum (whom is supposed to be frail-looking and awkward) a superstud. Stupid casting agents

it is my opinion that the original krum casting was the guy with the bigger nose and facial hair that was always next to the actual krum in the movie. But someone important wanted the stud guy. If you watch the movie the guy with the bigger nose is almost ALWAYS next to krum making me think its kudos to the guy.

thats how I pictured krum in the book anyway
