That list puts Sanjaya at #3, it sure strikes me as credible.

^ Don't complain to me--call Time. The magazine's list of the most influential people is widely covered as important news by other major media outlets, and people that appear on the list get various boosts to their careers, organizations, and causes. 5/5/2007 1:18:49 AM |

Others on that list:
Kate Moss John Mayer Justin Timberlake
All truly political powerhouses.
^ahaha, so you cite it to support your argument, but then when you're called out for its stupidity, you're all "hey, don't blame me"

^ The word for today is "influential," Boone-tard et al. Rosie reaches millions of people on a daily basis, so she has an opportunity to influence a great many. The editors of Time seem to understand this, why don't you? Mad cow?

That lists was based on a poll of Time readers, not the editor of time magazine. It's hardly (and clearly not) representative of all of America. 5/5/2007 1:39:28 AM |

THEN WHY DID YOU CITE IT?
And while I'm bothering with you, do you have a valid source to explain how she's such an influential figure in politics?

^^ and ^ Can either of you provide any evidence that Rosie has no influence--political or otherwise? I have at least cited a major publication to support my position; you have cited nothing. It's typical.

The time magazine poll you yourself linked to shows that Rosie has no meaningful influence. You can't seriously believe that at 83, with a bunch of other nobodies ahead of her, that it's "proof" of her influence.
Where on this message board has Rosie EVER come up EVER in an argument, that wasn't someone bashing her?

^ I gave you some time. So you have no evidence that Rosie is NOT influential? BTW, here's some more evidence that she IS influential--Rosie at the Million Mom March:

Haha
How do you expect me to prove she's NOT influential? Do you think people take polls on "people who aren't influential?" You can only infer a negative statement from a collection of positive statements. That's like asking you to prove to me that YOU'RE not influential.
If you take Time's poll, you can conclude she's somewhere on the influence continuum between Sydney Crosby and Nelson Mandela. That's hardly proof that she's influential. 5/5/2007 6:13:41 PM |

Are you serious? As far as I had heard the whole cold fusion thing seemed to be a scam. Did something change? Have we been able to replicate cold fusion? I thought not. Feel free to enlighten me.5/6/2007 12:07:29 AM |
