I didn't realize that so many people from KS lived out here either. I was born and raised in Wichita and after graduation (South High class 02) left without any intention of returning there to live. The weather out there leaves something to be desired.

I love storms. Those are about the only thing I miss from KS. I loved waking up in the middle of the night to a storm roaring outside

But I lived in Wichita! Right at the corner of Pawnee and Webb

i didn't "live" in wichita..

but i was "guest" of the sedgwick county sherriff's dept. in downtown wichita for about a week.

Oklahoma town leveled about 20 minutes ago.
apparently hit a town that had been demolished on may 3rd 1999 along the same path.

This tornado was wider than that one.

^ Well they call themselves that because when chasing you are looking for the rain free base in a supercell thunderstorm. It is typically where the tornado will develop from.

Hell of a tornado. There were some pretty obvious ones on radar yesterday evening guess its that time of year.
